Upload your price list

Your own items and prices sit in Mängda and can be used in every quote.

    Save the file as CSV with a header row

    The headings Mängda reads are artikelnummer (item number), benämning (description), dimension (size), material, längd (length), enhet (unit) and pris (price). Semicolon, comma or tab as separator all work, and a decimal comma is fine.

    Worth knowing. Common variants go down well too: artnr, beskrivning, dim, DN, mtrl, rörlängd, enh and á-pris. A heading like “Pris exkl moms” is found on its first word.

    Make sure there is a price column

    If no price column is found the whole file is rejected with “Hittade ingen priskolumn” (found no price column). The file also needs either an item number or a description — if both are missing it is rejected as well.

    Worth knowing. Prices like “1 234,50 kr” and “150:-” are read correctly. Empty or negative prices make the row be skipped.

    Include the size

    Write the size as a number. 110, Ø110, DN 110 and “110 mm” are all read as 110. Without a size column nothing can be matched automatically, and every row in the quote has to be picked by hand.

    Open Price list (“Prislista”)

    Click Price list (“Prislista”) in the menu at the top.

    Pick the file

    Drag the CSV file into the box, or click Choose file (“Välj fil”). The file is read in your browser — nothing is sent off until you save.

    Worth knowing. If you change your mind, click Start over (“Börja om”) and the preview is emptied.

    Read off the counters above the table

    They say how many items went through, how many rows were skipped, how many warnings there are and which separator was found.

    Worth knowing. At most 5 000 items are saved per list. If the file is bigger, the first 5 000 are saved and you get a warning — better to split the list up per product group.

    Go through “Rader som behöver ses över” (rows that need looking at)

    Red text is rows that are not saved: a missing or invalid price, a missing item number. Grey text is warnings — for instance a duplicate item number, where the first row is kept and the rest are skipped.

    Check the preview

    The table shows the first eight items as Artikelnr (item no.), Benämning (description), Dim (size), Material, Längd (length), Enhet (unit) and Pris (price) — exactly as they will be saved. If Dim or Material says “–”, the heading has not been found.

    Name the list and save

    Type a name in Name of the price list (“Namn på prislistan”) — the file name is filled in for you — and click Save price list (“Spara prislista”).

    Worth knowing. The name is what you pick between in the quote, so “Wholesaler 2026 Q1” is more use than “export”.

    Rename or delete later

    Under Saved price lists (“Sparade prislistor”) every list has the buttons Rename (“Byt namn”) and Delete (“Ta bort”). The number of items and the upload date are on the card.
